Hello Bombshell Bling Friends! This is Angelina from JoJo and Eloise, and can I just say that, I am beyond THRILLED to be here today. Sarah was so generous to invite me over to her blog and share ALL this Disney, Fun and Excitement with you guys. Seriously, people, who can resist anything Disney? Certainly NOT me. So I immediately hoped on board and in fine blogger fashion, I quickly found myself STUMPED as to what to share. So like any good Mom Blogger, I turned to my inspiration, MY KIDS!!!

It didn’t take them long, they knew EXACTLY what I should share.

The MUPPETS!!!

Of course! The Muppets! Now why didn’t I think of that. We are HUGE Muppet fans (Especially the Vintage ones), and the Kids are so excited for the upcoming Disney’s, Muppets Most Wanted movie.

So, in honor of this New Release, we wanted to share with you how to make Kermit the Frog Polymer Clay Jewelry to wear to the Muppests Most Wanted Movie.

So FUN, Right!?!?

Now, unfortunately, the Sad truth is, I STINK at working with Polymer Clay. However, I am so thankful my Son LOVES to and enjoys making pieces to share.

You will want to start out with some Polymer Clay. We used FIMO from JoAnn’s. We bought two shades of Green. Tropical Green for his head and body, and for his pointed collar we used Apple Green.

Break off a Small piece of the Tropical Green clay and roll into a ball. Shape it into a Tear Drop like shape. And make a slit in the center for Kermit’s mouth. We used a sharp pairing Knife.

Take some Small pieces of Red clay and shape into, INSIDE mouth pieces. ( play around until you get the right size needed) Smooth it out and do this for the TOP and BOTTOM part of Kermit’s mouth.

Using a light shade of pink. Make a smaller shape, just like the Red mouth above, for his tongue. Roll and Smooth it out, then, using a small point make an indentation for the center of his tongue.

Mark the Placement for Kermit’s eyes. Garrett used the back of a sewing pin. Do this on both sides.

Using some White Clay, make two small balls. Place them on your marks and shape.

Taking your Black Clay, Roll out a Long thin strip. Break into 2 pieces and place one across the center of the eye. Trim off any excess.

Using the same Black Clay, make 2 small dots and place in the center of Kermit’s eyes.

For Kermit’s Pointed Collar, use your Apple Green, Clay and make a Flat Circle Disk shape. Using a knife ( or any other cutting tool) cut out your triangle points. Place on the bottom of Kermit.

Using Jewelry supplies from JoAnn’s we found these Metal Findings-Thin Eye pins, the Ring at the top is Perfect for a Chain to go through. We cut it down and pushed it through the clay.

Bake your clay according to your packaging instructions.

Have fun and get creative with your pieces.

We made Rings, Studded Earrings, Clip On Earrings, Necklaces and Lapel Pins.

Our Full Body Kermit tutorial will be coming soon to JoJo and Eloise.
