Welcome to another installment of S’mores Saturdays! I hope you come back all summer long to enjoy s’mores recipes galore! I asked my readers on Facebook once to share s’mores recipes with me and one reader linked up a picture of a marshmallow dipped and toasted strawberry. It was a bum Pin, but the idea got me thinking. Why not take that a step farther and make S’mores-Dipped Strawberries?! That idea stuck, and so I gave it a shot. It was SO. DANG. GOOD. Seriously. Just…..WOW.
Let’s look at a step-by-step pictorial of the process, all demonstrated by the smooth little hands of my four year old.
Grab your supplies! Strawberries, marshmallow fluff, graham cracker crumbs, and melting chocolate. (I used candy bark. Chocolate chips would probably be fine as well.)
Melt the marshmallow fluff a bit and dip your strawberries into it. Let them cool on wax paper. (Ignore photo-bombers, regardless of how cute they may be…)
Now toast the marshmallow. I did mine over our grill. This was the most tedious part by far.
Pretty, aren’t they? Let them cool.
Now melt your chocolate, dip the strawberries, and lay on the wax paper. Prepare for the next step BEFORE they dry.
While the chocolate is still moist dip the strawberries into the graham cracker crumbs. (If the chocolate is dry the crumbs will not stick!)
That’s it! You are done! Now enjoy…and be prepared, because they are goooooood!!!! But you don’t have to take my word for it, because I have proof! While I was outside taking the “beauty shots” of five of these bad boys someone ate ALL of the rest of them! I think he must have set a world record!!
Cute little greedy guts.
Enjoy!! For more s’mores recipe inspiration see the S’mores Saturdays Series on my blog or my S’mores Recipes board on Pinterest!
See you next Saturday, if not sooner!

So does toasting the fluff make it so that it’s no longer tacky? Or do you think you could dip directly from fluff to chocolate? Hmmm…

They were not tacky after toasting, but the real reason I did it was b/c I love the taste of toasted marshmallows. (Clearly.) But I actually did NOT toast all of them because it was taking too long. I didn’t get to taste the non-toasted ones. They are the ones that Callum devoured when I wasn’t looking. Must have been good! 😉 I think melting the fluff for dipping and then letting it cool removed the tacky. They were equally easy to dip. xo
