A few weeks ago I had the idea for this Halloween Teacher Gift Printable, and I am so excited to share it with you today! As all of my regular readers know, I love Halloween. Love it to bits!! However, I am not into creepy, gory Halloween. I am into smiling pumpkins and dancing, cheerful ghosts Halloween. If it’s cute and it’s festive then COUNT. ME. IN. I admit it, I’m a cutesy Halloween junkie!
The people who know me well also know that I am obsessed with children’s literature. This goes back to my time as an elementary school teacher and now as a stay-at-home mother. I am addicted to children’s books and I’m not afraid to admit it! Teachers of 20+ years used to walk into my classrom and gasp at my collection of books as a first year teacher. No joke! I have since become an Usborne Books & More Independent Consultant, which has only added to my collection – to a ridiculous level, I might add! (Best books ever. Seriously. I have a problem, so I should know!) 😉
ANYWAY . . . I decided that I wanted to combine my love of Halloween, my obsession with children’s books, and my respect and gratitude for teachers and send my kiddos to school with an unexpected and festive gift for their teachers that can be used in the classroom. So I ordered up two of our favorite Halloween books – (affiliate links) Happy Halloween, Curious George! and At the Old Haunted House – and created this fun little printable.
You should consider doing the same for your child’s teacher! You could use a book or any other treat or surprise that you think the teacher would love! If you would like book recommendations here is a list of my favorites from my ridiculously large holiday book collection: 25 Spooky Cute Halloween Picture Books.
