Fun & Unique Toy Gift Guide

‘Tis the season! The season for religious celebration and parties and gift buying and generosity. One of my favorite things growing up was “Secret Santa.” You know the drill — head to the store as a family, pick out gifts for the family, wrap them up, load them into a pretty box, and then ding dong ditch that package of joy. I LOVED it. I still do!! More recently, at our church there is an “Angel Tree” where we can choose angle ornaments, each with the age of a child and their Christmas gift wish. I love choosing the angels whose ages and interests line up with my children’s ages and interests so that we can go choose the gifts together. It’s one of my favorite family traditions.

World Market is running an amazing sweepstakes right now entitled “Share the Joy.” I will tell you all about the movement and the sweepstakes at the bottom of this post, but for today they invited me to roundup some unique gifts that I would use to Share the Joy. My kids love going to World Market with me because of all of the little treasures that they can find, such as the white wind up mouse featured below. That thing can MOVE! I love going to World Market because of the scarves, and my husband loves going to World Market for the international foods . . . but I digress. I love the unique toys that are always at World Market. Amazing stocking stuffers, and so many toys with that fantastic retro feel that are so difficult to find these days. It just makes me so happy.
