I am so excited about today’s tutorial for this romantic flower toddler necklace.  My little lady has always loved things that glitter, so I have made plenty of jewelry for her over the years.  Lately she has been asking to make jewelry with me, and I LOVE it!  She carefully strings each bead one at a time and wears the finished products with such pride.  It’s the best.

Now let me tell you how to make your own flower toddler necklace.

Romantic Flower Toddler Necklace-1

To make this necklace you will need the following items (I received these beads free from FizzyPops.com.  You won’t need the full packs, so you can make something else as well!  Use the coupon code BLING10 at checkout for 10% off! There are a few affiliate links below.):

  •  Faux Pearl Chunky Beads 20mm, Light Pink
  •  Faux Pearl Chunky Beads 20mm, White
  •  AB Chunky Beads 15mm, Hot Pink
  •  AB Chunk Beads 15mm, White
  •  Flower Rose Beads 20mm, Light Pink
  •  Flower Rose Beads 20mm, Hot Pink
  •  Heart Lobster Clasp
  •  a bit of chain
  •  jewelry beading wire
  •  crimp beads
  •  flat nosed pliers
  •  crimp nosed pliers
  •  wire snips

Romantic Flower Toddler Necklace-2

Simply lay out your beads and then start stringing!  My little lady and I had a great time laying out the design, and I love that she wants to do the stringing herself now.

String the end of your beading wire through a crimp tube, through the clasp, and back through the crimp tube.  Pull the wire tight enough to close most of the excess wire space. Use your crimping pliers to crimp the tube. First squeeze it with the dented section of the pliers, as shown. Then crimp it shut by squeezing it shut in the other direction using the smooth section of the pliers.  Repeat on the other side, and snip off the excess wire with the wire snips.

Romantic Flower Toddler Necklace-3

Now throw your flower toddler necklace onto a beautiful little lady and admire her sweetness.

Adorable! Thanks for the link. I’ve been wondering where to get the supplies to make bubblegum ball necklaces myself. My girls have a few of them, and I would love to create some more.
