“Do The Downton”

Raise your hand if you love DOWNTON!!!!!!  Is your hand waving wildly in the air?  Mine is!!  My sisters and I are all BIG Downton fans and — shhh! — so is my husband!  Love that man!  Considering my love for the sweepingly lovely and — let’s face it—delightfully soapy Downton Abbey, you can imagine my delight upon discovering that Downton Abbey was teaming up with one of my favorite stores ever — Cost Plus World Market — to bring you a line of beautiful products and a rocking sweepstakes!

Let’s start with the products.  As you can see in the picture above, this lovely line of products includes tea cups, a teapot, dessert plates, tea, wine, crackers, Walker’s Shortbread, and more!  I love the dishes — so pretty!  You can see the entire line of Downton Abbey products HERE.

World Market has challenged all of us —- yes, you too!! — to “Do The Downton” on Sunday, December 8th.  The idea is to have people everywhere having tea parties and posting their photos on social media channels using the hashtag #DoTheDownton.  In fact, it is going to be one HUGE, all day social media party!  It will bounce from Twitter to Facebook to Google Plus and back to Twitter again, and it will include LOADS of prizes, so be sure to check into the party at some point on Sunday!  Plus, of course, you can post your photos to Instagram.  You will definitely see my pics there.  It’s my favorite social media spot!  You can find all of the details about the social media par-tay HERE.

We are actually not tea drinkers, so I have decided that for my tea party I am throwing a mock tea party for my little princess and her pals.  We are talking one and a half year olds in frilly dresses here, people.  It is going to be INSANELY cute!!!  Be sure to tune in on Instagram to check out a sneak peek and to come back next week for the full party pics AND a chance for TWO people to win fun Downton prize packs from yours truly.  Too fun!!
