Beat the Winter Blues Giveaway Series on Craft Quickies 5First of all, I just want to thank all of you for the overwhelming support that I got last week for my jewelry giveaway.  I am humbled and thrilled by your kind feedback and enthusiasm for my work!  I have been pretty stalled on my jewelry making since Little Miss Jade was born, and fairly burnt out, but all of your kind (gushing!) words have gotten me totally reinvigorated about making jewelry and my creative juices are flowing.  Hopefully I can find the time to get some new creations up in my shop soon!  And don’t forget, I always take custom orders, so send your man my way with that CRAFTQUICKIES20 coupon code if you are dreaming of something in particular for Valentine’s Day!

The winner, Amy, has been contacted and will be receiving her Multi-metal Crystal Bling Signature Necklace in the mail soon.  Thank you again for all of your entries!  Now on to this week’s exciting giveaway…..

26306_Cricut Mini Box ContentsThis week I am giving away a CRICUT MINI!  Isn’t that amazing?!  If you do not have a die cutting machine and you are getting serious about crafts then you need one, my friends!  I adore my Cricut Expression with all of my heart.  I have used it to make countless cards, holiday decorations, kid t-shirts, and to decorate my son’s room with an alien theme.  The possibilities are endless, really.  Having a great die cutting machine makes your projects fast and easy, but super professional looking!

Here are the three most popular projects that Courtney and I have made for this website using our beloved Cricut Expressions:

Pumpkin Blocks Cover

Quick & Easy Mod Podge Pumpkin Face Blocks
(Featured on the blog Mod Podge Rocks!)

sparkly-ho-ho-ho-sign
Sparkly Santa Sign

Quick and Easy Die Cut T-Shirt Tutorial

Quick & Spooky Die Cut T-Shirts

And here are a few fabulous projects that I found on the Cricut website’s Project Center.  There are loads of great ideas to help you get ready for Valentine’s Day.  Here are a few that caught my eye.

Cricut Valentines

Modern Simple Valentines
(I adore these.  I totally need the cartridges to make these.  Simple but darling!)

Stud Muffin Cricut

Stud Muffin
This cracks me up!  I totally want to do this for my husband.  He works such weird hours that I didn’t even see him last Valentine’s Day.  But I could leave a box of muffins for him in his car and I know it would totally make his day!

XOXO Banner Cricut

XOXO Banner

The other thing that stood out to me was the fabulous vinyl wall decals that can be made with one of their machines.  I am getting ready to redecorate my kiddos’ rooms, so I am loving both of these ideas.

Cricut Wall Decal

Once Upon a Time Vinyl Wall Decor

owl

Owl Always Love You Wall Decor

Don’t they have the most amazing projects and ideas?!  Go browse and get inspired!

Thank you to Cricut for sponsoring this awesome giveaway to cap off our Beat the Winter Blues Giveaway Series.  I have loved sharing all of these fabulous prizes with you this dreary January and I look forward to doing it again next year.  Use the Rafflecopter widget below to enter to win your very own Cricut Mini, and get those Valentine’s Day projects ready, because the Valentine’s Day Holiday Craft-Off is coming soon!

That’s a hard one! There are so many amazing projects that they have listed. I really like the conversation heart treat boxes for Valentine’s Day. I am the Homeroom Mother for my daughters class and last year I found the perfect Halloween image to go with their class theme and I sat there and cut all those tiny pieces out by hand to make 17 Halloween bears. It took me all day and boy was my hand sore! It would have been so much easier with a Cricut. I can think of so many ways I could use it for classroom projects 🙂

First, I will indulge my OCD desires to label everything!!! Well, maybe not everything, but I would love to get started in my pantry and may be even in my husband’s shop. 🙂 I would love to make wall vinyls for my grand daughters. They would LOVE that! And I think the cards would be way fun! I’ve hesitated to do a lot of craft projects, because I want them to look professional. A Cricut Mini would allow me to all the above and MORE. Thanks for the contest. Good luck to all.

I have the personal size Cricut and my daughter borrowed? it to make do some glass etching for her wedding. To this day, I have not been able to get my Cricut returned to me. She told me that I can ‘visit’ my Cricut anytime I want to but it has to stay at her house. I would love to win this Cricut mini so that I can do my projects at my own home and not hers. I love making my own Christmas Cards every year and use the Christmas cartridges that I presently own. I plan on purchasing some of the new Christmas ones when I get the chance.

Talk about inspiration. I was so enamored by the Patterned Coasters it made me stop & wonder if I could take the technique used to make the coasters one step further & make a tile back splash for my kitchen wall to match the coasters?
