This particular craft will probably take more then 30 minutes, but I could not help but share because I loved it. Partially because I always had fun playing legos with my younger brother when we were kids.
Jen posted a great tutorial of a lego tray over at Somewhat Simple. I love this idea because of the personal aspect with a kiddo’s name on the tray, and the simple and fun present. Also, they have fun lego sets for girls too, so this is not just a present for the little dudes.
And with the lego base for a tray the toys can stay in one area and you may not run as much of risk of stepping on one!

I always have fun playing with the toys the kiddos of my friends have….and sometimes feel a little cheated from my own childhood because they are so COOL 🙂
