Glow in the Dark Bats Kid Craft

Here is another fun activity that you can do with your little ones: Glow in the Dark Bats made with glow in the dark paint!

I was browsing through blogs and I saw these glow in the dark bats.  It got me to thinking.  I didn’t want to bother doing something so elaborate, but I thought it would indeed be fun to hang bats over my 3 year old’s bed.  And then it hit me: I had leftover black foam bats from making my EEK! Quick and Easy Spooky Bat Wreath.  And I had leftover glow in the dark paint from making my son Glow-in-the-Dark Monster Shoes.  (Both the bats and the paint came from JoAnn Fabrics and Craft Stores, by the way, and the Halloween items are 70% off right now, so go grab some!)
Painting glow in the dark bats is a fun Halloween activity for kids! I grabbed the bats and the paints and sat my little rascal down to do some painting.  I painted the first face for him and a few other things that he requested (a haunted house, a skull, etc.), but for the most part I just sat back and let him do his thing.

Later that night my husband helped our little boy hang the bats from the ceiling about his bed with fishing line and tape, and he giggle delightedly when they lit up as we turned off the lights at bedtime.  So fun.
