Glow in the Dark Sneakers

I am so in love with these Glow in the Dark Shoes from Momma D and Da Boyz.  My sister and I grabbed some glow in the dark puff paints and some $5 sneakers from Walmart and made some for our sons one night while we watched Project Runway.  Yeah, our designs were pretty much up to par with the PR contestants’ designs.  Heehee.  It was a really fun sister night.  The next day we tried to do a photo shoot of our sons wearing them together.  Yeah, this is how THAT turned out . . .

Darling glow-in-the-dark are sure to be a huge hit with your little monster!

Oy.  I did manage to get two halfway decent pictures of our boys in their glow in the dark shoes.  Out of 60.  I suppose it was a bit delusional of me to think I could photograph a 1 year old and a 3 year old together.  Live and learn!

Darling glow-in-the-dark are sure to be a huge hit with your little monster! Darling glow-in-the-dark are sure to be a huge hit with your little monster!

Find the full tutorial here.  You won’t regret making them!  My son is so obsessed with his glow in the dark shoes and points them out to strangers in the grocery store even though he is usually super shy.  It makes me so unbelievably happy when I make him something that he truly loves!  Happy painting!
