*This post is sponsored by American Crafts.  My ideas, opinions, and ridiculously extravagant love for their glitter tape are 100% my own.
I love this plaque for a little girl's room---both sassy AND sweet! And everything is better with GLITTER!
Did you happen to see My Glittering Patriotic Mantle yesterday?  It makes me smile.
I love this glittering patriotic mantle made with glitter papers, glitter tapes, and washi tape! Today I am continuing on with the projects made from the glorious, glittery, glamorous supplies from American Crafts.  (Can you tell my kids were watching Sesame Street—sponsored by the letter G—while I was making these?)  But today I’m focusing on GOLD glitter.  (Perfect, right?!  G is for Gold!  Ay ay ay…..I need to get out more often!)

When I got this gold package of supplies with which to play I was PUMPED.  Just look at it!  Yum.  The glittery letter stickers caught my eye, as well as the confetti paper, the chunky glitter paper, and, naturally, the glitter tape!  I have problems.  As you know.
Gold Glitter Supplies from American Crafts I pondered and pondered what to make with all of this glittery goodness, and I settled on something for my Little Princess.  After all, what says “Princess” more than gold glitter?!  I decided that a quick and easy little plaque for the door of her new nursery would be a perfect project.  Let me show you how I made it.  It came together VERY quickly!
I love this plaque for a little girl's room---both sassy AND sweet! And everything is better with GLITTER! First I bought a 97 cent wooden plaque from Walmart and spray painted it baby pink.

Next I put the lettering on the plaque.  They fit perfectly.  Lucky coincidence!  Aren’t these letter stickers just amazing?!  They are called Glitter Foam Thickers.  I am incredibly smitten with them.  I saw them on sale somewhere the other day and grabbed a few packages in fun colors.  They stick really well and look fantastic!

Finally, I added a crown using glitter glue and chunky glitter.  In retrospect, I would probably use basic glue next time so I didn’t waste precious glitter glue when it was covered up anyway, although I did have excellent control with that pointy glitter glue tip.

Thanks to American Crafts for all the glittering goodies!  If you follow along with them on social media you will always be up to date on their newest products and the fabulous project ideas being made with their fab supplies!  You can find them on Facebook, Twitter, and the ultimate idea spot: Pinterest!

Haha. You got it! Actually, that’s the beauty of their supplies. The chunky glitter paper is MESSY, but the rest of it isn’t even a tiny bit messy! Nothing flaking off of that glitter tape or those stickers! So stick with glitter glue for the crown and just skip the chunky glitter on top of the glue and you should be golden! (Pun intended.) 😉
