These Easter Bunny rolls are the perfect festive addition to your Easter dinner!

These Easter Bunny rolls are the perfect festive addition to your Easter dinner!  They are simple to form using your favorite bread dough.

Good morning!  Believe it or not, Easter is right around the corner, and today I wanted to share with you something fun and festive that I made for our Easter dinner last year: EASTER BUNNY ROLLS!  🙂  Aren’t they cute??

One of my favorite things about holiday meals is that it is one time that we always take the time to make homemade dinner rolls.  Mmmmm……don’t you just LOVE a good homemade roll?  In my book, homemade rolls warm from the oven are one of life’s great delights, but they are so time-consuming to put together that I don’t make them as often as I would like.

You can make these sweet Easter Bunny rolls using any roll dough that your family loves.

I always use the Copycat Lion House Rolls Recipe that I got from a friend years ago.  It is sooooo good!  You can find a full recipe for that dough, complete with a very detailed step-by-step picture tutorial, HERE.

If you want to make your rolls in the shape of bunnies, simply follow the recipe through to the step where you roll out the dough.  Now, as shown in the photos below, you will cut off a strip of the dough, fold it in half, twist it twice, and lay your dough “bunny” onto a greased cookie sheet.

Cover with misted/greased plastic wrap and let rise, as specified in the full recipe, and then bake.  Be sure to top your bunny rolls with melted butter or a flavored compound butter once they are out of the oven so that they will be as tasty as they are cute!

I hope this recipe inspires you to make some bunny rolls this year for your family’s Easter dinner!

This is just too cute. I’d like to point out a couple of things that might improve your viewers experience at your site, not that I didn’t enjoy myself because I did. I love this recipe idea and plan to save it.One thing is and I may be over looking it, but a friendly print option for your recipe or post would be nice a touch touch and second, there is something on your site causing page scrolling lag and slow typing response when commenting. I’m telling you these things because I hope others would tell me the same. 🙂 I hope this helps. Have a good week and a blessed Easter!

I’m not sure, but a lot. At least 2 dozen I’d guess.
