Hmm. Have some odd memories– 8yo brother getting lost…all day, going w/boyfriend on double date w/my sister & her ditching us all, being in a group who could not find bus after high school grad night, son refusing to ride on ANYTHING until near end of day… But favorite is watching 4 of my kids enjoy Toon town when I took them (3 for the 1st time & the teen barely remembered having been before at age 3).

So many favorites-but the one that sticks out the most happened at Disney World this year. My 3 year old badly broke her arm just a few days into our trip to FL, while my husband was half the country away for work. Needless to say our “vacation” changed drestically. We barely made it to the Magic Kingdom by 3PM the only day we were able to go to any parks. Then some other frustrating things happened (I lost an incredibly sentimental piece of jewelry while my daughter and I were looking for my husband and 1 year old who we had been separated from for two hours because someone forgot their phone…) needless to say it was NOT a good memory. We were about to give up and just leave when a cast member suggested we meet Princess Aurora and her “special guest” (it was only a 15 minute wait). The “Special guest” were Elsa and Anna. We hadn’t been able to meet them earlier due to the crazy lines and my daughter has never been so excited in her life. I cried. (It had been a rough week…)

When I was little my mom took me to space mountain ( I barely hit the height requirement) I was half asleep during the queue line and woke up as soon as the ride started I got super scared but my mom held me super tight and that made me feel secure :). It’s been my fave ride ever since!

My favorite memory is when we went during the Christmas season. I was 15 and went with my parents and 2 sisters. It was SOOO crowded! We got there right at opening and stayed till closing. We went on splash mountain over and over until we knew the song. We still sing it and laugh hysterically. My youngest sister was wearing chucks and by evening her feet were hurting, so I offered to switch her shoes for the rest of the day. When we were adults she thanked me for that 🙂
