These Christmas Washi Tape Votives are the the simplest Christmas decor DIY project that you will ever do, which is why I chose them to kick off SLEIGHBELL SATURDAYS 2017! There will be a new Christmas post every Saturday until Christmas, not to mention the posts during the week. I go a bit nuts with new posts and projects from October – December, so be sure that you are following along on social media and subscribe to my newsletter so that you don’t miss anything! (You can do both in the sidebar!) Now on to the Christmas Washi Tape Votives!
It is so simple to make these Christmas washi tape votives that it seems a bit ludicrous to do a “tutorial,” but here goes nothing! 😉 Here is what you will need for this project . . .
- Candle Votives (from anywhere – Walmart, Target, Hobby Lobby, etc. I got mine at the Dollar Store!)
- Christmas Washi Tape (I got mine on Pick Your Plum. There is usually really fun washi at craft stores, especially Michael’s. There is also great stuff on Etsy.)
Ready for the “tutorial,” everyone? Take washi tape and . . . wrap it around the votive! Even my craft-inept sister could do it! LOL! You can make the back very precise and line everything up exactly if you would like, but – here’s a secret – I didn’t! I just left it messy and turned that side toward the picture frame. Lazy? Yes. Do I care? Nope! 😉
Now find a place where your Christmas washi tape votives can bring a little pop of color and festivity!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
