A Valentine’s Day Holiday Mantel

A Sweet & Sparkly Valentine's Day Mantel from Bombshell Bling I am excited to share with you today my Valentine’s Day mantel.  Last year I made a bunch of things to go on it and bought a bunch of decorations…..and then I didn’t put it up until the day AFTER Valentine’s Day.  Whoops.  Why bother putting it up at all, you may wonder?  I figured out that I may as well put it up and take pictures since I had already prepped it all and I could save the photos for this year to ensure that I would actually put them up and not let another year pass without sharing them.  And so here I am, sharing them.  Over the next couple of weeks I will share how I created the frames, the KISS, and the heart garlands with you, but as for tonight let’s just look at the big picture.  A romantic overview, if you will.  😉
Valentine Mantel-14 Valentine Mantel-15 Valentine Mantel-19 I created the front of the mantel using a variety of pretty, floofy things.  I made two heart garlands, which I will be sharing a tutorial for next week, using glitter ribbon and foam hearts.  I also used white maribou boas, hot pink sparkly yarn, and miniature pale pink pom poms, all attached with scotch tape.
Valentine Mantel-18 Near the center of my holiday mantel were these fabric and yarn wrapped letters.  You can find the tutorial for these Simple & Sweet Wrapped Letters on 5 Minutes for Mom as a guest post.

Check out the tutorial for the exact details on how I created my Sweet & Sparkly Valentine’s Day Frames.
