TREAT Personalized Cards - Adorable, Simple, & Affordable!

Hi, Friends!  Last week I was invited to try out making my own personalized greeting cards on Treat.com.  Well, Valentine’s Day is coming up, so of course I accepted!  I was pretty excited to start creating my Valentine’s Day Cards, and once I saw the selection of greeting cards available I was even more excited!

I decided to make cards for my Dad (from my daughter, his “Bug”), my grandparents (from their great grandchildren), my in-laws (wearing the Cheetah Costumes my MIL made them), my nephew (from his Big Boy Cousin who he follows around in awe), and my handsome hubby.  I love how I got to use pictures for the grandparent and great grandparent cards, because, really, who loves picture of your kids more than their grandparents?  No one.  I know that next time I go to my grandparents’ house my granny will point out the card to me, tape to her refrigerator door.  She is the cutest.

Now, let me show you just how simple it was to go through the process, and then I have a deal to share with you!  Score!

Here is the homepage.  As you can see, you can choose categories such as Valentine’s Day, Birthdays, or more and choose from a variety of greeting cards and Photo Gifts to customize.  One thing I love about this service is that it really doesn’t cost any more than a grocery store greeting card, but it is WAY more meaningful because it’s personalize!  They will send them to you with free shipping or DIRECTLY TO THE RECIPIENT for only the price of a stamp!  SCORE!  So handy.

Head into your category of choice and browse your options.

Once you choose a card click on it and you will see your options for personalization.  (This isn’t my cute pic, it’s the sample.)

You can upload your own pictures and then drag them up from below the card into the picture spot.  Isn’t my little Bug darling?!  And how about those cheetahs?!  As you can see in Bug’s Kissing Booth card, you can personalize the print on the cards as well.

If you don’t want to bother uploading photos, or if that’s just not your cup of tea, you can use photo-free cards.  My nephew is 2 1/2, so he is in the prime stage of toddler boys obsessed with trucks and building machines.  When I spotted this bulldozer card I knew it would be the ideal card for him, so I got the official approval from his Big Boy cousin (my son) and we personalized it.  (I know he’s not a baby anymore, but my son started calling him that as soon as he was born and it stuck.)

If you don’t want to be sappy you can always do something silly and simple, like the card that I made for my husband. Our family loves llamas, and we have two stuffed llamas that I used to use in my elementary classroom like puppets.  They developed very large personalities over time, and one of them was known to say to the kids that all she ever dreamed of was a flying shoe of her very own.  And thus was born my husband being silly and saying, “I love you so much, I love you I do, I love you more than a flying shoe,” which my son now whispers into our ears before he goes to bed.  I just love my family.

You may also be raising your eyebrows at the names on that card.  My husband is in training to be a doctor and is immensely amused by himself, so one day he programmed himself into my phone as “Sexy Doctor.”  I laughed when I saw it and programmed myself into his phone as “Hot Woman.”  At least we amuse ourselves, right?!  🙂

So, do you want to make your own Treat.com cards now?  Well you are in luck, because I have a deal to offer you!  And be sure to order by 11am Pacific on 2/10/14 to get it in time for Valentine’s Day, and if you do order share your cards on Instagram with the hashtag #SendMoreLove.

That looks like a great way to personalize cards – so much better than the stock on the shelves at stores.
