For my simple, inexpensive birthday gift idea I am sharing a simple dangle earring tutorial. These earrings will take mere minutes to make and who doesn’t love getting some new jewelry?!
You can find the tutorial for my earrings below. As for the other creative ideas, a lot of these gifts are versatile for any occasion, and can be a to gift to your friends, family, or even that gal that you’d like to get to know better. Even more fabulous–most gifts are under $5, and have coordinating printables to make it super simple!

Alright, it’s earring making time! Let’s get started.
For this project you will need some kidney earring hooks, two eye pins, and two beads/crystals/pearls/etc. You will also need round nosed pliers, flat nosed pliers, and wire snips. All of these things can be found at a bead shop or large craft supply store.
Begin by putting an eye pin through the bead of your choice. Use the round nosed pliers to grip a bit above the bead, and then gently push the wire to the side,as shown below.
Bring the wire back over the top of the pliers, as shown below.
Grab the end of the eye pin with your flat nosed plier and wrap the wire back around the center of the eye pin wire a couple of times, as shown below.
Now use the wire snips to cut the excess end off of the eye pin.
Simply thread the kidney earring hook through the closed loop that you have just made and you are finished! Repeat with the second earring.
Can you believe how simple that was??

Ii didn’t notice wire size, but I would stick with 21 o22 gauge to avoid damage, especially if they are a present.
