This Pokemon pennant banner is perfect for a Pokemon themed bedroom OR a Pokemon themed party! Basically, they will give your little Pokemon fan a thrill!

This tutorial for a Pokemon pennant banner is so simple and quick — I know you are going to be delighted when you realized how easy this tutorial is to execute!

I made the Pokemon pennant banner for decorations for my son’s Pokemon birthday party, but then I decided to also transform his room into a Pokemon bedroom, so I was able to use them for that as well!  Jackpot!

Take a look at them in action at the birthday party . . .

Here they are in action in my boy’s bedroom . . .

Now would you like to know how to make a Pokemon pennant banner of your very own?  Let’s get started!

Here is what you will need to make a Pokemon pennant banner:

  • POKEMON CARDS (I got mine HERE on Amazon.  I’ve never seen a deal on them like this one!)
  • BIAS TAPE – Extra wide, double fold (I chose red for mine, but it’s up to you!)
  • Sewing machine, thread, scissors

Take out your bias tape.  Stick a card in between the folds, as shown above.  Sew.  Just keep adding cards as you go.  Mine were about a thumbs-width apart (about 1″).  I didn’t worry about it being exact.

You are done!  SO easy, right?!  Now you have an adorable Pokemon pennant banner to display in any fun way that you can dream up!  Bedroom, parties . . . anywhere where there are Pokemon obsessed kiddos to be found!

If you love this post I know you will LOVE my Pikachu wall art!  Check it out!

I know this is a bit older now. But I figured it’s never to late to say thank you, right? 🙂 I Consider myself a wannabe pinterest mom. & I’m always giving the phrase “biting off more than you can chew.” a whole new meaning. I D.I.Y. EVERY party, holiday, family gathering, etc. Always thinking I can do it no problem. NOT! Anyway, I came across your lovely Pokémon party on pinterest & it saved my a**! I used everything, games and all. The printables were a great hit by the way. 👍 Now we just moved into our new home & my son is still all in with the Poké critters. 😁 So I came back here to get more of these amazing ideas for his new room. I figured since I keep using you amazing ideas, the least I could do was leave a (not so quick) thank you so much for all your help! My family & I really appreciate it! XOXO
