Consider my mind utterly and completely blown. Vivienne at the V Spot always has the best tips and tricks on keeping food fresh, gardening, etc- and today she has quite possibly the best tutorial ever for a basil lover.
I have a huge basil plant in my backyard that has been exceptionally productive this year, and it breaks my heart a little each time I see it and think in a few months it will be dead from frost. With some clippings though, I could have a little indoor basil plant, without having to buy a new one or grow seeds.
