* I received this vinyl from Expressions Vinyl to review, but all ideas and opinions are 100% my own.

Valentine's Day Glitter Vinyl Top

Today’s post is a mix of fun fabulousness.  First of all, I have a SUPER simple tutorial for you to make a glitter vinyl heart top for a little lady.  Then I have a blog hop for you of Valentine’s Day ideas from some of my favorite bloggers. Lastly, I have a giveaway for you from Expression Vinyl!  SCORE!  You guys, you WANT to win this.  This vinyl ROCKS.

Let’s talk about my tutorial first. I was contacted by Expressions Vinyl for a chance to try out their vinyl and share a few projects with you.  I can’t wait to show you how simple this project was to make and the ideas I have to make and share with you in the future!  Eek!

The two amazing heat adhesive glitter vinyl colors that I used for this project are light pink and blush.  I used it on a white onesie, obviously, and I used my Cricut to cut the shapes.  I found the images on the Valentine’s Sweets cartridge (the Shadow function).

Valentine Vinyl Top_

Start by measuring across the chest of your onesie.  Now you will know what size you should make your images.

Valentine Vinyl Top_-2

I decided to make my onesie in two different colors, so I measured out the hearts separately in Cricut Craft Room.  I sized it based on my onesie measurement.

Valentine Vinyl Top_-3 Valentine Vinyl Top_-4

Cut two pieces of vinyl (using scissors) to the correct size and place them SHINY SIDE DOWN on the mat.  (See the top picture above.)  The dull side of the vinyl should face up.

Valentine Vinyl Top_-5

Use Cricut Craft Room to cut the shapes.  Be sure to set it to cut vinyl.

Valentine Vinyl Top_-7

Weed the excess vinyl off of the clear transfer layer.  (The super shiny side that you placed facing downward.)

Valentine Vinyl Top_-8

Place your large heart carefully on your onesie (or shirt) and use your iron on a medium high heat (no steam) to iron it into place.  Allow it to cool for a moment and then slowly peel up the clear layer.  Give it one more little swipe with the iron if it isn’t secured completely.

Valentine Vinyl Top_-9

Place the second layer of hearts over the top of the large heart.  Iron it on using the same technique.

Valentine Vinyl Top_-11

Ta da!!  All done!  I love how it turned out, and it was SOOO simple!!  I love how my little lady looks in it.  She is the cutest.

I can’t say enough good things about this glitter vinyl.  It is so high quality and so beautiful and sparkly.  I LOOOVE it!!  I can’t wait to use more colors and to try the regular (non iron-on) vinyl.  Expressions Vinyl has amazing prices, and they have SO many varieties —- indoor, outdoor, patterned, iron-on, and more!!  Check it out — I know that you will be so impressed!!  And GUESS WHAT?!  I convinced them to give my readers a coupon code to use!!  For a limited time you can get 10% off using the coupon code BOMBSHELLBLING, so HURRY and order!!

I think that I would get some Glow in the Dark Vinyl to make some cool shirts for my daughter. I’d also get a dust cover for my Cameo, on the off-chance that my husband makes some room for it on his desk and I get to unpack it! I’m also eyeing the Silhouette Glitter Sketch Pens. I’m sure I could find some great crafts that use them.
