FREE Simple Math Color by Number Worksheets

Good morning!  I am excited to share my simple math color by number worksheets with you today!  I was brainstorming ways to create a fun math learning experience with my kids this summer, and I decided to create color by number pages for them.  My kids are willing to do learning games, but they LOVE art, so I wanted my math activity to be art-centric.  I decided that a color by number sheet would be really fun, but I’m not much of a freehand artist, so I used my son’s Step-By-Step Drawing Book to make the sheets.  Haha.  True story.

I ended up creating four sheets and then copying them so that I could do five versions of each sheet, a simple number recognition version, an addition version, a subtraction version, a multiplication version, and a division version.  I may have gone a bit overboard . . .

My 3 year old daughter tried her darndest, but just ended up zoning out the numbers and coloring her sheet however she wanted, but my son (in his ratty Wolverine costume) carefully did his addition problems and proudly colored his sheet.  Believe it or not, it’s the best coloring that I have seen from him!  He loves to draw his own creations, but he doesn’t usually have much patience for coloring other people’s creations.

Both of the kids asked if they could please do it again, so I plan to do the other coloring scenes with them over the next few days!

You can download the FREE simple math color by number worksheets below.  ENJOY!

If you love the idea of color by number books I would definitely recommend the ones from Usborne Books & More.  They have the most incredible activity books, which I didn’t realize until I signed on as an Independent Consultant.  They are AWESOME!!!  There is My First Color by Number Book, which is ideal for little ones, and then there are three more complex Color by Number books which would be great for kids, teens, and even adults who love to color!  SO cool.
