FamilyShare.com is a great resource for parents and families!

This discussion is brought to you by FamilyShare.com.  I was compensated for checking out their site, but becoming a member of the site, reading dozens of articles, and being truly impressed by it is 100% my own reaction and opinion!

As you know, I am a mom.  Being a full time stay-at-home mom is very rewarding, but also completely exhausting and often monotonous.  That’s the truth of the matter.  I would rather be nowhere in the world than with my babies, which is why I stopped teaching to spend my days with them, even though it meant moving into my dad’s house during my husband’s training years because of our tight budget.  But being alone with two little ones day in and day out can make a Mama a bit stir-crazy after awhile.  Thank goodness for play dates, the technology that keeps me in touch with family and girlfriends, and for this blog and my jewelry business, which are my creative outlets!

And thank goodness for all of the amazing resources that are available to moms in this era!  How in the world  did moms do it 100 years ago?!  I can’t imagine not being able to Google a question, grab a book, or hop onto a mothering website when I am troubled or discouraged in my mothering journey!

My newest favorite site for this purpose is FamilyShare.com.  I discovered FamilyShare.com at the two blogging conferences that I attended this year, and once I started poking around their site I was hooked!  There are thousands of articles on topics ranging from marriage and parenting to personal development and spirituality.

Here are four articles that have really hit home with me recently because of the day-to-day things with which I am dealing.  (Yes, letting my son watch too much tv is one of the things I’m dealing with.  This is always a struggle around here, and when you are house-jumping and avoiding workman because of a remodel it just becomes a bigger problem than ever!  Ay ay ay.  Just keeping it real here, folks.)
