I love themed gifts. A story for you, when I was in grad school I was invited to a bridal shower for one of my professors and my friend/roommate and I decided to go in on a gift together. We were really torn as to what to get her. Given it was a bridal shower and she was our teacher, we wanted to get something nice for her but also appropriate! We ended up putting together a night at the movies for her, including a cozy blanket, some movie candy and some good ol’ fashioned chick-flicks. It was a big hit, not only for our professor, but among the attendees at the party. Sometimes finding a gift for someone you don’t know all that well is pretty difficult, and something like this is easy to put together, thoughtful, and budget friendly.
Anyway…while I don’t have an example of my own themed present, I came across this post from Gina over at Camp Clem, a fantastic example of a fun and affordable gift basket. Enjoy!
