It’s that season again . . . Back to School!! Crazy. How did the summer fly by so quickly?! My boy is about to start kindergarten, and I must admit I’m not feeling ready for that… Waaaahhhhhh!!! Stop growing up so quickly!! The one good thing about him starting school is that we can go back to school shopping together. I always loved back to school shopping as a kid. Do you know the part in the darling movie You’ve Got Mail where he says that fall makes him want to send her a bouquet of freshly sharpened pencils? I get that. I soooo get that! As a kid and then as a teacher, I love the excitement and promise surrounding a new school year and the crisp, clean new school supplies. However . . . back to school shopping is EXPENSIVE! I only have one kid and I’m already amazed by the list of school supplies that his school is requesting, not to mention that he grew out of all of his fall clothes this summer with a crazy growth spurt.
