In case you hadn’t noticed, I am a BIG The Nightmare Before Christmas fan. Jack Skellington and I are buddies, that’s for sure! I was at Disneyland with my family last week, and we went to Mickey’s Halloween Party. Ah-MAZE-ing!! This time of year The Haunted Mansion is decked out The Nightmare Before Christmas style, both inside and out. My boy and I went on it and I was in heaven, especially since the Dapper Dans (the Disneyland barbershop quartet) were floating on a foggy river in ghoulish makeup singing songs from the movie while we were waiting in line. Swoon. I wanted to get a picture with my boyfriend Jack, but the line was super long to meet him, and I had already maxed out my character line waiting tolerance on princesses and superheroes earlier in the day. 😉
Much to my dismay, The Nightmare Before Christmas ideas are sorely underrepresented in the world of crafts and tutorials. I looked and looked and LOOKED on both Google and Pinterest.

I’m trying to figure out something for a Nightmare Before Christmas, table cernterpiece but I’m out of ideas. I can’t find anything online and it seems like everything NBC themed is sooo expensive. My baby shower is in two weeks. Do you have any ideas that would be fairly cheap and painless?
It’s true, there aren’t many NBC ideas out there. Blah! NBC baby shower, huh? Fun!! What about buying a cheap wreath or wreath form, spray painting it black or purple – you could also use black or purple glitter with spray glue on top of the paint! – and use something like a large white ball and a Jack Skellington face drawn on it? Or a big glass bowl full of ping pong ball, some with Jack faces drawn on them with Sharpies, all on top of a purple or black placemat or something?
These are also a great ideas for Halloween.. I’ll do these on our halloween party..
