Pumpkin Inspired Earrings Tutorial - So cute for Fall

Since fall is wrapping up and the Christmas season is upon us, I wanted to share one more fall friends jewelry tutorial for the year.  Today I am going to show you how simple it is to make these fun pumpkin-inspired earrings.  Aren’t my models the cutest ever?  One of my besties and her little girl.  Such babes!

I received the beads free of charge from FizzyPops.com, but the tutorial and opinions are all my own.  Let’s take a look at how simple these festive earrings are to make.  Perfect for fall!

Gather up your supplies:

  •  orange wooden beads
  • gold eyepins
  • gold earwires
  • thin green ribbon
  • FrayCheck
  • round nosed pliers
  • flat nosed pliers
  • wire snips

Place an earwire through the bead and use your roundnosed pliers to bend the wire almost 90 degrees to the side, leaving more space than usual above the bead so that the ribbon will have a place to tie.

Pumpkin Inspired Earrings-4

Grab the end of the earwire with the flatnosed pliers and complete the loop and twist it to close off the loop, as shown above.  Use the wire snips to remove the excess wire end.

Pumpkin Inspired Earrings-5

Attach the earwire to the earring hook, as shown above.

Pumpkin Inspired Earrings-6

Tie a small knot of ribbon to the earwire and trim it so that it resembles a pumpkin stem.  Use FrayCheck to prevent further fraying of the ribbon.

Now wear your lovely new pumpkin inspired earrings.  If you are even half as cute as these two redhead babes then you will be too cute for words!
