15 Seashore Inspired Kid Crafts

Good morning!  The seashore has been on my mind lately.  We are getting ready to head to the seashore later this summer, first in California with my husband and then in Oregon with my husband’s family!  SPOILED!  Aditionaly, many of you know that I am an independent consultant for Usborne Books & More, and I recently got my hands on an amazing Usborne book called Secrets of the Seashore.

Secrets of the Seashore: A Shine-a-Light Book

Secrets of the Seashore is part of the “Shine-a-Light” series of Usborne books.  Basically, there is a story and pictures, but when you shine a flashlight behind the pages secret images are revealed.  My kids are OBSESSED!!  The whole series is SO FUN.  Check them out HERE.  I have my eye on Secrets of the Rainforest next!  Here are some pictures from INSIDE Secrets of the Seashore.  Super fun, right??

Secrets of the Seashore

I was invited to join in a blog hop with other Usborne Independent Consultants to share with you fun ideas for kid crafts and activities to go correspond with Usborne books that fit a monthly theme.  This month’s theme is “summer,” so I chose this book.  Be sure to check out the rest of the ideas, which are linked up at the bottom of this post.

For my post I decided to round up 15 Seashore Inspired Kid Crafts for you.  I hope you are inspired to grab this book with your kiddos and read and create together!
