THANKSgiving…could there be a better theme for a holiday at this time of year? Whether you know the history of Native Americans and the Pilgrims…or you just love the camaraderie of spending time with friends and family…Thanksgiving can be a source of great joy. We’re past the vibrant colors of autumn and into the bleak in between grays and rain of November. Then along comes a day of feasting, of laughter, seeing loved ones we often don’t see all year.

Gratitude happens so naturally on this day. The real beauty of a holiday that celebrates nothing more than coming together (no gifts required!) is that it evokes a feeling of gratefulness that can carry us through the cold winter and into the new year.
