S'more Hot Chocolate Recipe from Bombshell Bling

Anyone who knows me well knows that two of my weaknesses are hot chocolate and s’mores.  I love them both so very much, so it’s only natural that when International Delight asked me to try their new line of Hot Chocolates I decided to use them to create a s’mores hot chocolate recipe!  It’s the perfect merging of my favorite summer treat and my favorite winter treat!

S'more Hot Chocolate-1

I am usually a dark chocolate junkie, but I opted for the International Delight Milk Chocolate Hot Chocolate for this recipe, because I just think that classic milk chocolate belongs in s’mores, don’t you?  (My kids love this stuff, by the way!)

I started by using a marshmallow to make the edges of my mug sticky.  I just tore it open a bit and dabbed it all around the edge, as shown below.  Then I turned the cup upside down on a plate of graham cracker crumbs, which is also shown below.

Heat up your hot chocolate in another container and pour it into the mug.  Top with large (or mini – your choice) marshmallows.  CAREFULLY use a kitchen torch to toast the marshmallows.  (I couldn’t figure out how to take a picture of that in action since it was just my three year old and myself at home.  Sorry!)  Once the marshmallows are toasted to your liking, liberally sprinkle additional graham crackers over the top of them and enjoy your simple and tasty winter treat!
