Beat the Winter Blues Giveaway Series on Craft Quickies 1

Do you feel blah in January?  I do.  I always feel melancholy that the holidays are over, and since we live in Colorado we have a long winter still ahead of us where it is hard to get out of the house and quite tricky to keep the stir-crazy little ones occupied.  Blah.  And  January is my least favorite month of the year.  It is so long and so cold.

However, there are a few things that cheer me up on a gray winter day.  Among those things are food, good movies, cute kiddos, shopping, being cozy, getting a chance to be crafty and creative, spending time with friends and family, and getting fun new stuff . . . . especially when that new stuff is free!

Did you catch that list?  Hiding in there are the clues to all of the upcoming prizes that you could win this month. Let’s beat the winter blues together, shall we?  I am very excited about this Beat the Winter Blues! Giveaway Series.  There will be a new prize every Monday for the month of January.  There are some very exciting prizes coming up, but you will have to come back each Monday to discover what the prize of the week will be and then enter to win.  I hope you are as excited about the prizes as I am!

To kick off a month of fun giveaways we are starting with a $25 Pick Your Plum mystery box of goodies.  I must tell you, I won one of these a while back from another blog, and it was soooo fun to get it in the mail!  It was full of so many fun goodies!  Many of them I never would have thought to buy for myself, but I love all of them!  So fun!

If you are not familiar with Pick Your Plum then be sure to check out their website, because they have amazing deals!  I may or may not have a bit of an addiction to their site.  They carry everything from jewelry to craft supplies.  Every day is a new deal, and things sell out quickly!  So sign up for the email and get it before your neighbor does!

Here is an example of just a few of the things that could be in your mystery box:

I’ve joined a couple of -alongs that start up in the next couple of weeks so I really do use my stash. I’m going to do a sock knit-along that starts next week and a vest crochet-along that sorta started already.
I hope the new year brings you health, happiness, and lots of great projects!

I’m so ready to move from glittery holiday crafts into pretty colors and natural elements. I also want to start sewing again.

I am going to start my collague wall with photos and fancy frames and what not. Since we are a military family and found out we are going to stay here awhile, its time to get away from the drab beige walls.
