HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!
I hope you are all having a wonderful day with your loved ones of all ages and genders! Love rules! 🙂
This was very difficult to judge. There were SOO many amazing projects! And apparently all of our judges have different taste, because voting was ALL OVER THE PLACE! So please try not to have your feelings hurt if you project didn’t make this final post. Who knows……you could have gotten a vote or two! I couldn’t feature all of the projects that were voted for without having a post a mile long!
After much deliberation I am excited to share our winner and our finalists with you! Here we go!
The winner of the grand prize package is Carissa from Creative Green Living with her Book Page Pennant Banner! I think it’s awesome that this project had the most votes, because it is not only cute, but it is also a “Craft Quickie” in a major way! Go make yourself one! You can get it done today, I promise! Congratulations, Carissa!
Check out these other projects, all of which are our finalists (in no particular order):
Felt Rose Wreath from Craft a Spell
Valentine Chalkboard Template and Free Printable from A Simply Klassic Home
Fingerprint Frame from One Artsy Mama
(I love this because it’s cheap, easy, and a fun craft for your kid to do with you! We all know I have a soft spot for the kid-friendly stuff. Be sure to check out the rest of her Valentine’s Day projects, because they are awesome!!)
Red Hot Love Potion Number 9 from Shaken Together
Conversation Heart Yarn Wrapped Wreath from Seven Alive
Jenn from Clean & Scentsible had a ton of entries and a ton of votes on different projects. Here are her four highest voted ones: 7 Days of Love Valentine Countdown, Teacher Valentine Gift Idea, Whoooo Loves You Valentine Treat Boxes, and Valentine’s Photo Banner and Chalkboard.
Valentine’s Felt Heart Garland from The Creative Cubby
Congratulations to our winner and all of our finalists, and thank you to everyone who entered! Watch for “Flash Craft-Offs” coming up for St. Patrick’s Day and Easter. Since both holidays fall in March (boo!) these craft-offs will be fast and furious, but I am looking forward to them!
Happy Valentine’s Day!
