Growing up we made these cute reindeer bags every year for our school teachers and our church Sunday School teachers. They were my mom’s brain child (I think….I can’t ask her because she passed away 10 years ago), and they were always a hit. I love that they are simple, no-stress teacher gift idea and that the kids themselves can help to put them together. (If you want to hear my list of the ULTIMATE teacher gifts from the mouths of three teachers, myself included, then you should check out this post: The 5 Gifts That Your Child’s Teacher REALLY Want to Receive.)
To make this teacher gift idea you will need the following items:
* brown paper bag
* brown construction paper
* red pom pom
* googly eyes
* FREE printable gift tag
* scissors, glue, and a bit of ribbon
* NUTS! (We always use pistachios.)
Trace some cute little hands for reindeer antlers or cut out an antler shape. Fold the brown paper bag over and glue the antlers to the back. Glue on the pom pom nose and the googly eyes.
Fill that bag up with nuts, print out the printable tag, and attach it. (The XXL Fiskers round punch is just the right size, or you can just use scissors.) Here is what the free printable looks like:
