Hello, friends! Did you wonder if we were dead? Well, we aren’t. I know it’s odd to go from posting almost every day to forgetting to post a link up contest, but life happens, doesn’t it?! Courtney and I both have toddler boys and infant girls, and in the last week both of our little girls have gotten very sick. And so, we have faced the music: we have missed the window of opportunity for week three of our craft off, and it is officially canceled.
We are so grateful for everyone who linked up to our first two weeks of contests, and we are excited to do similar Holiday Craft-Offs for future holidays! If you haven’t gotten a chance to browse through the projects from week one and the recipes from week two then be sure to do so, because there are too many fab things to feature!
Now on to the winners and finalists! We loved everything and had a terrible time narrowing it down. Our group of judges voted for so many different things. I swear almost every entry had at least one vote! We had to narrow it down and re vote and then Courtney and I just had to make executive decisions. Congratulations to our winners!
Week 1 – Holiday Décor
Congratulations to our winning submission:
Rudolph Silhouette Christmas Sign Tutorial from Number 2 Pencil
And an extra shout-out to our following finalists (in no particular order):
Vintage Glass Glitter Reindeer Ornament from Uncommon Designs
Hanukkah Mitzvah Calendar from Yesterday on Tuesday
Doily Ornament from Christina’s Adventures
Ornament Stamped Coasters from Chaos Served Daily
{Trim Your Tree} DIY Twine Wrapped Candy Cane Ornament from A Night Owl
Week 2 – Tasty Treats
Congratulations to our winning submission:
Chocolate Dipped Marshmallow Elf Mugs from Rook No. 17
These elf mugs are just very, very “me.” I have a total weakness for anything adorkable. It’s the elementary teacher in me. They are just too clever! My son and I are making them sometime this weekend, and I’m sure our elf, Reindeer Face (Can you tell that the three year old named him?), will be found enjoy them, just as her elf did.
And an extra shout-out to our following finalists (in no particular order):
Starbucks Copy Cat {Caramel Apple Spice} Crock Pot Drink from Tips from a Typical Mom
Chocolate Peppermint Crème Cookies from Crazy Little Projects
(These are the cookies my Aunt Jackie always makes for our birthdays. SOO yum!)
Cherry Almond Shortbread Cookies from Flamingo Toes
Peppermint Hot Chocolate Cookies from Mom Endeavors
Thanks again to all of the talented bloggers and readers who entered our contest! We loved looking at your submissions and discovering your blogs! Look forward to similar Holiday Craft-Offs to come again soon! (Ooohhh….I’m already dreaming about hearts, aren’t you?!)
Stay tuned this week for the long-overdue handmade ornament tutorial roundup and an original tutorial or two. Happy Holidays!
