How to Make a Delicious Turkey Stock Using Your Leftover Turkey Bones
  • turkey carcass
  • cold water
  • 1 Tablespoon dried parsley flakes
  • 1 Tablespoon dried onion flakes
  • 1 Tablespoon dried celery flakes
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  1. Place the turkey carcass into a large pot.
  2. Fill the pot with cold water until it rests one inch above the turkey carcass.
  3. Add all of the spices to the pot.
  4. Place the pot onto the stovetop and bring the water to a simmer.
  5. Simmer for 4+ hours.
  6. Use tongs to remove the carcass and throw it away.
  7. Place a mesh strainer on top of a large container in the sink (to prevent spills and splashing).
  8. Pour the mixture into the strainer to remove excess fat and other items from the turkey stock.
  9. You now have a hearty,delicious turkey stock that you can use for cooking!
