Mama’s Chicken Fajitas Recipe
- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 3 Tablespoons salsa
- lime juice to taste
- tabasco to taste
- Mix together the garlic powder, salt, pepper, chili powder, and salsa to make your marinade.
- Chop up your chicken (partially frozen is simpler to cut) or veggies and throw them into the bowl with the marinade.
- Stir and refrigerate at least three hours or overnight.
- Heat cooking oil over medium high heat in a skillet.
- Sautee the chicken, flipping often, until almost cooked through.
- Toss lime juice and tabasco over the chicken to taste.
- Continue to sautee until the chicken is cooked through. (Cut open a few pieces to double check.)
- Serve as desired and enjoy!
