How to Make a Delicious Turkey Stock Using Your Leftover Turkey Bones
- turkey carcass
- cold water
- 1 Tablespoon dried parsley flakes
- 1 Tablespoon dried onion flakes
- 1 Tablespoon dried celery flakes
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- Place the turkey carcass into a large pot.
- Fill the pot with cold water until it rests one inch above the turkey carcass.
- Add all of the spices to the pot.
- Place the pot onto the stovetop and bring the water to a simmer.
- Simmer for 4+ hours.
- Use tongs to remove the carcass and throw it away.
- Place a mesh strainer on top of a large container in the sink (to prevent spills and splashing).
- Pour the mixture into the strainer to remove excess fat and other items from the turkey stock.
- You now have a hearty,delicious turkey stock that you can use for cooking!
