Cream Cheese Strawberry Shortcake
 
 
Ingredients
  • 3 cups Bisquick mix (12 oz.)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 stick butter (1/2 cup)
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 (3.5 0z) box dry French Vanilla pudding mix (3.5 oz)
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 6 cups (about 2 lbs) fresh strawberries, sliced
Instructions
  1. Heat oven to 335 degrees and grease a 9x13 pan.
  2. In a large bowl, beat together the Bisquick, sugar, butter, buttermilk, vanilla, eggs, and pudding mix thoroughly. Pour into the greased pan.
  3. Bake 35-45 minutes.
  4. Pour the whipping cream into a small bowl and mix until there are soft peaks. Set the whipping cream aside.
  5. In a medium bowl, beat together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until well combined.
  6. Fold the whipping cream into the cream cheese mixture.
  7. Frost the cooled cake and top with strawberries. Refrigerate cake if needed.
  8. Serve and enjoy!
