Would you like to make a darling Valentine’s Day centerpiece for $6 in less than 1 minute?! Then look no farther, my friend. This is the project for you! Today my three year old son spotted this bowl of glittery goodness in the living room and excitedly ran into the kitchen to inform me that he had discovered a bowl of shining rocks that were shaped like hearts! He makes me smile. He was so taken with them that he carried one of the hearts around all morning.
The first thing you will need to do is to go to Walmart. Walk to the Valentine’s Day aisles. Buy two bags of the $1.97 red glitter hearts, one bag of the $1.97 pink glitter hearts, and one bag of the $0.97 heart confetti. (The confetti actually didn’t add as much as I thought it would. Feel free to skip it.)
Now go home and find a nice glass bowl. I just so happened to find this beautiful little crystal bowl in my dad’s China cupboard that looks like hearts. Dump all of the bags of glittering goodness into the bowl. Maybe toss it around for a minute with your hands until it looks good. Now go place it on a table to display.
So easy it is almost embarressing, right? But, trust me, it looks good!
Happy Valentine’s Day!
