My niece, Alicia is in love with anything with the Dias de los Muertos theme. That is Spanish for the Day of the Dead or All Souls Day, November 1st.
I recently found some fabric with the theme and made her some pillow cases for her bed.
While looking for Halloween crafts, I came across these at Creative Kismet. I know Alicia would love these!
The faces are great, and Regina shows how easy it is to make them. They would be perfect lining a walkway or placed together on a table.
Looks like I will have a new project to work on before I see Alicia this week!
How to make these planters can be found here

oh, gosh, my daughter would love these pots. I am going to make some for her. She works in Latin American and Central American Studies at Duke. It says there is a link to find how to make these but it isn’t there anymore (I just happened upon your blog this morning. Can you tell me where I might find the directions? If not, I figure I can wing it.
thanks
