Hello, hello! Happy Monday, everyone! And why is it so happy, you ask? Because today you have a chance to win 25 ROLLS OF WASHI TAPE! Wooohooo!! In fact, there will be two winners chosen, PLUS you get the chance to help ME win 25 rolls of Washi Tape along with you! I want those 25 rolls, people. I want them BAD.
So when you are entering below be sure to tell that that Craft Quickies sent you, because of all of the blogs participating the one with the most referrals will win 25 rolls of Washi Tape. Additionally, the second reader winner will be drawn exclusively from the blog with the most referrals! I’m a little blog, so help a girl out and spread the word to all of your creative friends and family to enter this giveaway and use my name as the referral as well. Thanks. That’s why I love all of you. 😉
Ok, but what IS Washi Tape, and why would you want it, and don’t I—a craft blogger—already have 100 rolls of it anyway? Nope, not so much. In fact, I am a Washi virgin. Yep, it’s true. I have never yet made a craft with Washi Tape. It was only a week or two ago that I got a single roll in my box for the Thrifty Stashy SNAP! Swap, but I have yet to get a chance to use it! And now our giveaway sponsor, the awesome Downtown Tape, has sent me three more rolls of tape. Sadly, they are at my dad’s
construction site home, but come May I am going to be making Washi goodies galore! (Especially if a reader or two and I each get those 25 rolls of tape!)
Now, let’s look at a few ideas of what we can do with Washi Tape. I am very excited about all of the possibilities!
HOME DECOR WASHI IDEAS
* Washi Candles from Mom’s Crafty Space
* Washi Birdhouse from The Creative Headquarters
* Washi Tape Monogram Wall Art from Living Locurto
* Washi Tape Swirl Vase from Sew Woodsy
* Washi Tape Mason Jar Vase from Yellow Bliss Road
* Washi Tape Coasters from A Pumpkin and a Princess
*Washi Tape Curvy Oval Picture Frame and Free Audrey Hepburn Printable from Girl Loves Glam
I absolutely love this frame from McKenzie at Girl Loves Glam. The black and white is very “me,” and it would be so easy to customize frames using this technique for your own home in your own colors and style.
*Washi Tape Picture Frames from Design Sponge
I am fairly obsessed with this idea from Design Sponge. These Washi Tape frames are super cute and funky, and they are totally removable, so they would be perfect for renting, military housing, or dorm rooms! BRILLIANT!! I am totally allowed to put nails in the walls of my bedroom, and yet I think I may just use this idea to decorate instead!
WASHI GIFT IDEAS
Want to go BERSERK with Washi Tape?! How about Washi-ing a BIKE?! Wowzer. Saw this pic on Pinterest but I don’t know where it leads. It looks amazing but……wow. I just can’t imagine taking the time. That’s a lot of tape, my friends!
